All automotive steering systems use a gearbox (also known as a “steering box”); Depending on the design of this system, it can be classified as: “Rack and Pinion” type and “integral type” (also called “Worm Screw” among many other names).
The Shibumi® Compensating Arm Bar meets all the design and material resistance requirements that provide the perfect balance to provide the best performance as a support element for the steering linkage.
shibumi® Axial Arm
There are two extremely efficient steering systems according to your application:
Rack Type: Recommended for light vehicles due to its precision features, low weight, and easy-to-locate design in engine compartments with limited space.
Integral Type: Especially recommended for heavy vehicles and trucks due to its more robust construction.
